In 2006 the Alliance commissioned a research and development
project. One of the aims of the project was to use creative ways of capturing and conveying the experience of people
with neurological conditions.
The principle method used to achieve this was 'story dialogue'. Meetings were
set up with small groups where volunteers shared stories about their experiences, which were then discussed by the other members
of the group to find shared insight and meaning.
