Neurological Voices Project Report 2011 - 2014

The Neurological Voices project report for the first three years of the project (2011 - 2014) is now available.

Western Isles Training

Neurological Voices training has just taken place on the Western Isles - on Barra, Benbecula and in Stornoway, Lewis. The training was adapted to respond to local circumstances. Normally, we offer ‘Taster’ sessions in different locations in each health board and a single training course in a central location.

Cartoon about Neurological Voices by Graham OgilvieThe established 'Voices' training programme, developed and delivered by Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS), has been successful in empowering patients and carers affected by Heart Disease and Stroke to input to the development of NHS services. Plans are under way to further develop Voices for Respiratory Services and extend the approach to a range of other conditions such as Arthritis and Diabetes.
